Robert Carter was born on September 14th, 1812. Robert Carter's father was Edmund Pendleton and his mother was Lucy Nelson. His paternal grandparents were Edmund Pendleton and Mildred Pollard. He had six brothers and two sisters, named Hugh Nelson, Francis Walker, William Nelson, James Lawrence, Guerdon Huntingdon, Edmund, Mildred and Judith Page. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth Page. He died at the age of 23 on April 28th, 1836 in unmarried.-
