Lucy's father was Guerdon Huntingdon Pendleton and her mother was Jane Byrd Page. Her paternal grandparents were Edmund Pendleton and Lucy Nelson; her maternal grandfather was Mann Randolph Page. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Edmund, Mann Page, Hugh, Mary, Julia Nelson, Mildred Louise, Jane Byrd, Frances Lawrence and Margaret. She died in Young.-
