Eleanor Love was born on November 10th, 1900. Eleanor Love's father was Edmund Pendleton and her mother was Eleanor Love Willis. Her paternal grandparents were Guerdon Huntingdon Pendleton and Jane Byrd Page; her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel Hite Willis and Jean Charlotte Washington. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Nathaniel Willis, Edmund, Thomas Willis, Jane Byrd, Jean Washington and Mildred Lee. She was the third oldest of the seven children.-
