Joseph Leroy Payne

Joseph Leroy was born on October 29th, 1910. Joseph Leroy's father was Edward Temple Payne and his mother was Dawson Hamilton Whitlock. His paternal grandparents were James Monroe Payne and Martha Jane Whitlock; his maternal grandparents were Joseph A. Whitlock and Sarah Lacy. He had two brothers and a sister, named James Wilford, Richard Curman and Orilla Temple. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 53 on August 31st, 1964.
