Samuel Mosby 
Samuel was born in 1743. Samuel's father was Hezekiah Mosby and his mother was Elizabeth Cox. His paternal grandparents were Edward Moseley and Sarah Woodson; his maternal grandfather was Nicholas Cox. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Daniel, Edward, Charles, Nicholas, Susanne, Mary, Sarah and Agness.-
