David Mosby 
David was born in 1756. David's father was Micajah Mosby and his mother was Maudlin Bedford. His paternal grandparents were Richard Mosby and Hannah Hand; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Bedford and Elizabeth Flippen. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Jesse, William, Hannah, Mary, Sarah, Lucy and Patty. He was the second oldest of the eight children.-
