Mann Page was born in 1849. Mann Page's father was William Garret Minor and his mother was Anna French Rootes. His paternal grandparents were Garrett Minor and Eliza McWilliams; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Reade Rootes and Anna French. He had a brother and a sister, named Butler Brayne and Nannie French. He was the youngest of the three children.-
