Thomas Jones was born on October 19th, 1889 in Higginsville, Lafayette, Missouri. Thomas Jones' father was Thomas Jones Miller and his mother was Cassandra May Slusher. His paternal grandparents were George Holman Miller and Mary Ann Corder. He had eight brothers and a sister, named Walter H., Roy E., Frederic J., Ryland T., Homer L., Heath Jones, Arthur A., James Campbell and Margaret May. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on December 19th, 1976 in Higginsville, Lafayette, Missouri. He was buried on December 21st, 1976 in Higginsville Cemetary, Lafayette, Missouri.-
