John Carter Martin 
John Carter was born on June 22nd, 1885 in Albemarle Co., VA. John Carter's father was John Louis Martin and his mother was Theodosia Virginia Carter. His paternal grandfather was ? Martin; his maternal grandparents were Wilson Merrill Carter and Frances Ann Ross. He had four brothers and two sisters, named George Burley, Robert Thurston, Henry Ellyson, Carter L., Fannie Eva and Alma Virginia. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 10 on January 12th, 1896.-
