Philip was born on December 28th, 1716 in "Green Spring", James City Co., VA. Philip's father was Philip Ludwell and his mother was Hannah Harrison. His paternal grandparents were Philip Ludwell and Lucy Higginson; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Harrison and Hannah Churchill. He had a brother and three sisters, named Philip, Lucy, Hannah Harrison and Sarah. He died at the age of 50 on March 25th, 1767 in London, England.-
