John Mason Lee 
John Mason was born in 1839. John Mason's father was Sydney Smith Lee and his mother was Anna Maria Mason. His paternal grandparents were Henry Lee and Anne Hill Carter. He had five brothers and a sister, named Fitzhugh, Sydney Smith, Henry Carter, Daniel Murray, Robert Carther and Elizabeth Mason. He was the third oldest of the seven children.-
