Martha was born in Edgecombe Co., NC. Martha's father was William Kendrick and her mother was Sarah Jones. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Jones and Rebecca Braswell. She had five brothers and three sisters, named James, John, Benjamin, Jones, Isham, Mary, Rebecca and Sarah. She died on February 14th, 1831 in Randolph Co., NC.-
