John J. Jennings

John J. was born on December 26th, 1774 in Culpeper, Virginia.  John J.'s father was Thomas Jennings and his mother was Sarah Carter.  His paternal grandparents were John Jennings and Ann Burton; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Carter and Elizabeth ?. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Daniel, Elizabeth, Ann and Lucy.  He was the third youngest of the six children.
