Thomas Martin James 
Thomas Martin was born on April 8th, 1823. Thomas Martin's father was John M. James and his mother was Mary G. Poor. His paternal grandparents were William James and Mary Hines; his maternal grandparents were Robert Poor and Elizabeth Mimms. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, John R., Robert Sallee, Drury Woodson, Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy Gardner. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died at the age of 80 on December 25th, 1903 in Kansas City, MO.-
