John R. James 
John R. was born on February 15th, 1815. John R.'s father was John M. James and his mother was Mary G. Poor. His paternal grandparents were William James and Mary Hines; his maternal grandparents were Robert Poor and Elizabeth Mimms. He had four brothers and three sisters, named William, Robert Sallee, Thomas Martin, Drury Woodson, Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy Gardner. He was the third oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 72 on October 25th, 1887.-
