William DuVal Howard 
William DuVal was born on September 4th, 1840. William DuVal's father was William Henry Howard and his mother was Sarah Catherine Duval. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Calthorpe Howard and Catherine Eliza Pope; his maternal grandparents were William Duval and Susan Browne Christian. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Thomas Calthorpe, Charles Henry, Isaac Adams, Nathaniel Pope, Philip, Catherine Elizabeth, Frances, Susan and Nellie. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died in Confederate Army at Second Manassas.-
