Maria America Howard 
Maria America was born in 1893. Maria America's father was William Lee Howard and her mother was Fannie L. Rowe. Her paternal grandparents were Henry A. Howard and Martha Ann Curry. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Ernest Linwood, Thomas Lawrence, Betty Lee and Emma Virginia. She was the second youngest of the five children.-
