Lavinia Carter was born in 1915. Lavinia Carter's father was Edward Mortimer Harrison and her mother was Lavinia Carter. Her paternal grandparents were Edward Cunningham Harrison and Anna Harrison; her maternal grandparents were Beverly Randolph Carter and Maria Anderson. She had two brothers named Edward Mortimer and Archie. She was the oldest of the three children.-
