George Gilmer 
George's father was Peachy Ridgeway Gilmer and his mother was Mary Meriwether. His paternal grandparents were George Gilmer and Mary Peachy Walker. He had a brother and four sisters, named Thomas Meriwether, Elizabeth Thornton, Frances Walker, Lucy and Mary Peachy.
