William Fuqua 
William was born about 1688 in Charles City Co., Virginia. William's father was Guillaume Fouquet and his mother was Jane Eyre. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Eyre and Margaret Humphreys. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, John, Giles, Ralph, Jane and Mary. He was the oldest of the seven children. He died in February 1761 in Lunenberg Co., Virginia.-
