Joseph Fuqua 
Joseph was born about 1690 in Charles City Co., Virginia. Joseph's father was Guillaume Fouquet and his mother was Jane Eyre. His maternal grandparents were Joseph Eyre and Margaret Humphreys. He had four brothers and two sisters, named William, John, Giles, Ralph, Jane and Mary. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died before September 22nd, 1788 in Cumberland Co., Virginia.-
