Ann was born about 1758. Ann's father was Perrin Farrar and her mother was Sarah Lacy. Her paternal grandparents were William Farrar and Martha ?; her maternal grandparents were Stephen Lacy and Sarah ?. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Matthew, Stephen, Sally, Lucy, Elizabeth and Frances. She was the oldest of the seven children.-
