Peter Epes 
Peter was born on July 23rd, 1801 in Nottoway Co., Virginia. Peter's father was Richard Epes and his mother was Martha Greenhill Williams. His paternal grandparents were Peter Epes and Mary Poythress; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Roper Williams and Catherine Greenhill. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Richard, William, Richard Francis, Martha Ann, Mary Elizabeth, Catherine Greenhill, Sarah Roper and Martha Ann. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 32 on February 1st, 1834.-
