Martha Ann Epes 
Martha Ann was born on October 2nd, 1827 in Nottoway Co., Virginia. Martha Ann's father was Richard Epes and her mother was Martha Greenhill Williams. Her paternal grandparents were Peter Epes and Mary Poythress; her maternal grandparents were Thomas Roper Williams and Catherine Greenhill. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Peter, Richard, William, Richard Francis, Martha Ann, Mary Elizabeth, Catherine Greenhill and Sarah Roper. She was the youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 41 on July 31st, 1869 in Brunswick Co., Virginia.-
