Mary Claiborne Dandridge 
Mary Claiborne was born on January 14th, 1772.1 Mary Claiborne's father was Nathaniel West Dandridge and her mother was Dorothea Spotswood. Her paternal grandparents were William Dandridge and Unity West; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Spotswood and Anne Butler Brayne. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William Alexander, Alexander Spotswood, John, Robert, Nathaniel West, Martha, Dorothea, Elizabeth and Anna K.. She was the youngest of the ten children.-
