Robert Ruffin Coleman 
Robert Ruffin was born on December 2nd, 1798. Robert Ruffin's father was Daniel Coleman and his mother was Martha Cocke. His paternal grandparents were James Coleman and Mary ?; his maternal grandparents were Hartwell Cocke and Anne Ruffin. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Hartwell, Richard H., Daniel and Milly. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 51 in 1849 in Mississippi.-
