Daniel Coleman 
Daniel was born on August 2nd, 1801 in Caroline Co., Virginia. Daniel's father was Daniel Coleman and his mother was Martha Cocke. His paternal grandparents were James Coleman and Mary ?; his maternal grandparents were Hartwell Cocke and Anne Ruffin. He had three brothers and a sister, named John Hartwell, Robert Ruffin, Richard H. and Milly. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 56 on November 4th, 1857 in Athens, Alabama.-
