James H. Cochran

James H. was born in 1802 in Bourbon Co., KY.  James H.'s father was John Cochran and his mother was Margaret Scott.  His maternal grandparents were James Scott and Ann Mason?. He had five brothers and two sisters, named Simon, David Scott, Thomas, John Wesley, Amos, Effie and Mary.  He was the oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 57 in 1859 in Van Buren Co., IA.
