Philapelia Claiborne 
Philapelia was born in 1843 in Alabama. Philapelia's father was Philip Whitehead Claiborne and her mother was Annette S. Craig. Her paternal grandparents were William Dandridge Claiborne and Euphania Taylor; her maternal grandparents were Adam Craig and Mary Mallory. She had five brothers and two sisters, named Walter H., Robert Stanard, Wallace Craig, ?, William Dandridge, Georgiana and Lucy Ellen. She died at the age of 28 on August 21st, 1871.-
