Henry Johnston was born before 1803. Henry Johnston's father was Benjamin Childress and his mother was Ann Key Johnston. His maternal grandparents were Henry Johnston and Agnes Carr Waller. He had three brothers and five sisters, named John Waller, Benjamin, Robert Minor, Dorothy Waller, Eliza Carr, Agnes Carr, Nancy Kay and Sophronia Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children.-
