John Meade Callendar 
John Meade was born on August 20th, 1865.1 John Meade's father was David Callendar and his mother was Elizabeth Randolph Meade. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Callendar and Margaret Ormiston; his maternal grandparents were John Everard Meade and Rebecca Wormeley Beverley. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas Meade, David Meade, Margaret Beverley, Lottie Ruffin and Charlotte Ruffin. He was the second youngest of the six children.-
