Charlotte Ruffin Callendar 
Charlotte Ruffin was born on December 15th, 1862.1 Charlotte Ruffin's father was David Callendar and her mother was Elizabeth Randolph Meade. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Callendar and Margaret Ormiston; her maternal grandparents were John Everard Meade and Rebecca Wormeley Beverley. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Thomas Meade, John Meade, David Meade, Margaret Beverley and Lottie Ruffin. She was the third youngest of the six children.-
