William Minor Byars 
William Minor was born on May 11th, 1817. William Minor's father was James Byars and his mother was Lucy Thornton Minor. His maternal grandparents were William Minor and Mildred Gregory Lewis. He had two brothers and two sisters, named James, Warner Minor, Elizabeth Ann and Mary Minor. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 53 on July 23rd, 1870.-
