Ann was born on February 3rd, 1780.1 Ann's father was Archibald Bryce and her mother was Mary Mitchell. Her maternal grandparents were William Mitchell and Agnes Payne. She had two brothers and six sisters, named William, John, Mary Gilchrist, Agnes, Elizabeth, Elizabeth, Charlotte and Lillian.-
