John Champe Brockenbrough 
John Champe was born on February 13th, 1775 in Hanover Parish, VA. John Champe's father was Austin Brockenbrough and his mother was Lucy Champe. His paternal grandparents were William Brockenbrough and Elizabeth Fauntleroy; his maternal grandparents were John Champe and Jane Thornton. He had two brothers and three sisters, named William, Champe, Lucy, Jane and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the six children. He died at the age of 33 on November 22nd, 1808 in Richmond Co, VA.-
