John Hanson Boyden 
John Hanson was born on July 14th, 1880. John Hanson's father was John Lewis Boyden and his mother was Cornelia Claiborne Payne. His paternal grandparents were Ebenezer Boyden and Mary Sheffey; his maternal grandparents were Samuel Spotswood Payne and Elizabeth Noland Crawford. He had a brother and two sisters, named Roger, Elizabeth Noland and Margaret Douglas. He was the oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 92 in 1972.-
