Frances Rebecca was born in 1834 in Fluvanna Co., VA. Frances Rebecca's father was Jesse T. Bowles and her mother was Ann Elizabeth Dooley. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Bowles and Frances Alloway Strange. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Zacharaiah H., Benjamin, Isaac N., John S., Archer S., Ruth A., Malvina Virginia, Julia M., Mary E. and Maria C. F.. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 77 in 1911 in Goochland Co., VA.-
