Thomas DeMoval was born in February 1811. Thomas DeMoval's father was James A. Armistead and his mother was Nancy Miller. His paternal grandparents were William Armistead and Frances ?; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Miller and Elizabeth ?. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Jesse Scott, Anderson Harrison, William M., James A., John M., Arianna Frances Jane, Ann C., Elizabeth M. and Martha Walton. He died at the age of 48 on June 21st, 1859 in Cumberland Co., VA.-
