Jesse Scott was born on December 28th, 1797. Jesse Scott's father was James A. Armistead and his mother was Nancy Miller. His paternal grandparents were William Armistead and Frances ?; his maternal grandparents were Jesse Miller and Elizabeth ?. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Anderson Harrison, Thomas DeMoval, William M., James A., John M., Arianna Frances Jane, Ann C., Elizabeth M. and Martha Walton. He died at the age of 71 on May 30th, 1869.-
