Unity Susannah was born in 1657. Unity Susannah's father was Col. John West and her mother was *Unity Croshaw. Her paternal grandparents were Gov. John West and *Lady Anne Claiborne Percy. She had three brothers and a sister, named Nathaniel, John, Capt. Thomas and Anne. She was the third oldest of the five children.
