Col. John West

Col. John was born on June 6th, 1632 in York, Virginia, USA.¹ Col. John's father was Gov. John West and his mother was *Lady Anne Claiborne Percy. His paternal grandparents were Lord Thomas Leighton Delaware West and *Lady Anne Knollys; his maternal grandparents were *George Percy and *Anne Floyd. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Matthew, Anthony, Alice and Anne. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 59 on November 15th, 1691 in Gloucester, Virginia, USA.¹
