Lydia Doane

Lydia was born in 1630 in Plymouth, Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States.¹ Lydia's father was *Sir Deacon John Doane and her mother was Mary Perkins. Her paternal grandparents were *John Doane and Lydia; her maternal grandparents were *John Perkins and *Judith Gater. She had six brothers and three sisters, named John, Daniel, Stilman Prat, *Ephraim, Thomas, Isaah, Abigail, Mehitable Heman and Betsy I. She was the oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 51 in October 1681 in Portsmouth, Newport, Rhode Island, United States.¹
