Lady Eleanor De Clare 
Lady Eleanor was born in October 1292 in Caerphilly, Glamorgan, , Wales.1 Lady Eleanor's father was Gilbert IV Earl Gloucs Hertsclare DeClare and her mother was Joan Plantagenet. Her paternal grandparents were Richard deClare and Maud DeLacy; her maternal grandparents were *Edward I Plantagenet and Eleanor Castile. She had a brother and two sisters, named Sir Gilbert, Margaret and Lady Elizabeth. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 44 on June 30th, 1337 in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, England.1 -
