John was born in 1307 in Powis, Montgomeryshire, , Wales.1 John's father was *John De Cherleton and his mother was *Hawis De La Pole. His paternal grandparents were *Robert Cherleton and Elinor Holand; his maternal grandparents were *Owain Ap Griffin De La Pole and *Joan Corbet. He had two sisters named Isabelle and Ellena. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 53 on August 30th, 1360 in Powys, Montgomeryshire, , Wales.1 -
