Hamilton was born in 1742 in Virginia, USA. Hamilton's father was Wilson Curle and his mother was *Priscilla Meade. His paternal grandmother was Jane Wilson; his maternal grandparents were *Andrew Meade and *Mary Latham. He had five brothers and two sisters, named David, Nicholas, William Roscoe, Andrew, *Wilson, Mary Latham and Jane. He was the third youngest of the eight children. He had a half-sister named Mary Polly. He died at the age of 18 in May 1760 in Elizabeth, Virginia, USA.-
