His paternal grandparents were *Ragnvald Brusesson and Arlogia Orkney; his maternal grandparents were Alan Of Brittany and *Bertha De Blois. He had two brothers named William and Robert. He was the second oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 30 in 1081 in Skelton Castle, Yorkshire, , England.1 -
