His paternal grandparents were *Ragnvald Brusesson and Arlogia Orkney; his maternal grandparents were Alan Of Brittany and *Bertha De Blois. He had two brothers named Adam and Robert. He was the oldest of the three children. He died at the age of 38 in 1087 in Bramber, Sussex, , England.1 -
