Alan Bassett 
Alan was born in 1156 in Hedington,,Oxfordshire,England.1 Alan's father was Thomas De Basset and his mother was Alice De Dunstanville. His paternal grandparents were *Ralph Basset and Alice DeBuci; his maternal grandparents were Alan Reginald de Dunstanville and Emma DeLangetot. He had three brothers and a sister, named Fulco, Gilbert, Phillip and Isabel. He was the second youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 77 in 1233 in Headington, Oxfordshire, England.2 -
