James Bartholomew 
James was born on August 20th, 1840. James' father was *Andrew Jackson Bartholomew and his mother was *Margaret Scott. His paternal grandparents were *Joseph Bartholomew and *Margaret Merchants; his maternal grandparents were *FNU Scott and *UNK. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named *William Scott, Thomas Corwin, Anderson, John G, Isaac Newton, Lewis H, John S, Jane Elizabeth, Samantha G, Delphine and Henrietta. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at just 11 days old on August 31st, 1840.-
