James Sloan 
James was born on September 28th, 1793 in NC. James' father was William Alexander Sloan and his mother was Jane Stevenson. His paternal grandparents were Fergus Sloan and Ann Elizabeth Robinson. He had five brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Fegus, William Stevenson, Alexandeder, John and Elixa. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 69 on November 21st, 1862 in Clark County,AR. He was buried in Sloan Family Cemetary,Trinity,Clark Co. AR.-
